Human skin is delicate and mostly sensitive. Choice of cosmetic product is important to be healthy. Usage of cosmetics is preferred to be limited to be good to the skin. Colourful chemical cosmetics are best avoided to use.
Each cosmetic product are available in the market with a manufacturing date and/or an expiry date. Specially artificially coloured cosmetics are required to dispose and not to use post expiry date. Usually cosmetics viz. nail colours, eye liners, coloured eye definers, lip gloss, lipsticks, mascara, eye shadow, blush on, foundation, concealer, coloured face powder, powder, talcum powder, rouge, etc and even skin cleansing, moisturising, toning, face pack, etc products are required to stop to use after expiry date. Mostly the wide variety available in the market of cosmetic products are best used before 24 to 36 month of expiry date.
Often cosmetics with backdated expiry date reacts to skin when used specifically for sensitive skin to cause skin ailments.
Today, I dispose my old blue and green eye definers as those have crost their timeline of usage. By the time, some cosmetic products becomes chapped on it’s own probably due to weather conditions or change in weather conditions as found one such in my disposal bucket list today.
